They are not loud -that noise you hear is them ENJOYING themselves and interacting! Unlike Kuwait where everyone is either on the phone or checking it constantly for messages.

thanks mary – the weather is much better here in beirut – i miss kuwait though, less traffic and more organized – you can't have everything in life!

All the region have this outgoing, fun loving, loud people. It’s in their blood. Look at the way they talk with gestures. You can’t see the same behabiour in cold countries :) so cheer up, be loud, laugh and enjoy

What a nice restaurant! Atmosphere…which is missing in Kuwait. Enjoy your trip and the wonderful weather – the weather here is autrious. I always say, when God said "Let there be hell on earth, He was looking this way".

Those who don’t like laughter and loud sounds should go to places where they can only whisper :) this way everyone is happy. I envy Lebanese as they really know how to live. Way to go!!!

I noticed lately that Kuwaitis in general are very loud, has anyone noticed that also? I noticed on my recent airplane flights.

There’s a point of view here, but when in public you have to respect other people’s presence. If someone wants to enjoy life, let it not be on the expense of other people’s love for quietness, serenity and relaxation. This is called noise pollution!!
