there are restaurants here that deliver food to homes and offices during ramadan - how do you think i'm managing?? as for partial food-court closure, i wish they apply it here, it's a good idea for non-fasting communities and a breather for businesses too

HOWEVER, in countries like the UAE fast food places are open such as drive through windows and also food courts in malls are open, they cover the food court places with curtains, so take-away is OK, you just can't eat in public. Also delivery services are able to deliver food to homes. Much different country. Business goes on......I really don't understand how countries can close down food service businesses during the day for an entire month, it is too much of a financial burden on businesses.

Thank you for this posting, most non-muslims are always confused on timings. However, why is it that the UAE starts Ramadan tomorrow, did Kuwait do their own thing again. Aren't they suppose to start on the same day?
