Seriously Géant?

on your way out of géant, there's this bulletin board on your right, almost empty except for that géant flyer and some ad - the interesting story is that advertising rate card on the top right corner of the board - basically, this stingy brand is renting out the bulletin board for 100 fils a day, 500 fils a week and 1 kd for 2 weeks!

i couldn't believe my eyes! how cheap is that! what is the expected revenue from that board? let's do the math.. say the board can take up to 6 or 7 ads at a time, that's 14 kds a month! seriously! is the operation doing so bad they're going out of their way to generate an extra buck!

It's probably revenue for one of their staff members. I challenge you to photgraph the rotten fruit and the dangerous salads they are selling. Very poor management in this store.

This is strange.. I mean if you're going to have ads at this price why charge in the first place? Better have them for free which is a lot better, then after you really have a lot of ads you can ask for small fees like maybe 1kd/day?

I’m not a big fan of geant as it doesn’t accept am ex!!! And it was really inconvenient for me…. the cashier didn’t know that they don’t accept it until she punched all my groceries. It was a total waste of my time!!!

    8. Joe says:

this is possibly so that the board doesn't get crowded with ads and those putting ads actually pay a symbolic fee.
