I was just wondering why most restaurants ask us to fill a paper where we should write down our opinion about everything in the restaurant from food to quality to service to music to price etc…. SO THEY CAN SUE US!! DAYMNNNNN!!!
MISTER GM man, grow up and get a life!!! We pay you and ur here to give us what WE consumers want! I don't care about whoever is this mark or anyone else, I just know that when I go to a so called good restaurant I expect to be given for what I'm paying and I'm totally free to like it or not or if I'm going to shout it out loud. This Mark can be a biatch if i care, but liking something or not is a personal thing and no one has the right to shut it, like this GM who didn't like the review and gave his opinion…well maybe mark should sue him for writing on his blog loooooool

Jassem, if you would have mentioned your company, I can assure you I'd rather not have your services for free, even if it were the only one of its kind in Kuwait. 1) Because you said "get US ignorant public" – therefore saying you are ignorant. 2) Because the ignorant public are your customers, and you have therefore called me an ignorant.
When I pay for a service or product, I expect to have standards. When a customer complains, the company should react by apologizing the experience/product wasn't up to that standard, and secondly improve!

And yes, IT IS freedom of speech! Everyone's entitled to their own opinions and are entitled to share their opinions! And you probably already know that it does not come down to a blog review. In Kuwait word of mouth is everything. This lawsuit is more negative publicity for them that a billion negative reviews. I personally can tell you that their response has made me boycott them. I cannot tolerate childish, petty and unprofessional businesses. In other countries you have official review sites with negative reviews left and right. You have food critics who will make you hear things you want to hear. You want a successful business then you should be able to put up with negative criticism, and you should change what people don't like. In the end with no customers you have no business.

Guys mark and his weirdo wife are nothing but blackmailers. Just to tell u something they tried blackmailing my company before but oh my God did mark get his rear end wopped hahahaha. See this is how they do it. They start of by first bad mouthing a company left right and center inorder to get us “ignorant” public to go along with the bad mouthing and hence reflect as if a large portion of the public agree to their nonsense. In directly the news reaches the intended company ( and do notice that mark and nataly always pick large companies or franchises since they know that they have a large interest in public opinion) they would, the company that is, contact mark to complain. Ofcourse mark and his wife would immediatly start the “freedom of speech” rehtoric and bla bla bla. Ofcourse eventually the company would become frustrated and want closure, and it is only at that time would mark suggest tbe magical solution….. Why not ADVERTISE on the site and we can remove that blog that is disturbing you!! So my friends forget this freedom of speech support thing since to mark and his “wife” its only business business business and they use u dear “ignorant” public to sell their product for them. By the way mark needs to be a bit smarter and check kuwaiti law before opening his fly trap . Believe my company taught him a lesson he will never forget. P.S all u companies who wanna get back at mark just contact me here and i will gladly share with you how to do it really good.

I had so much fun reading Mr Servo's comment on Mark's blog… I just want to tell the "GM" this:
1- He's not being profesionnal, for me he's more like a cry baby
2- PLEASE have your secretary get u a check spell!!! a GM who respects himself shouldn't make so many mistakes in one letter!!! besides..
3- This letter should have been sent privatly to Mark because all you got is repulsing us readers, so if u expected us to be on your side, sir, u got the opposite reaction
4- I think that Benihana should be the one filing a law suit against the franchise here because they don't deserve to represent them
5- Why don't you go and check with your chef and teach him better cuisine????
6- Mark or anyone else have the right to say whatever he feels like saying on his blog, this is like a diary, he's giving a personal opinion and this is NONE OF UR BUSINESS!!!!!!! talking of business…do u spend ur time on the internet? no wonder you have a lousy cook!

OMW! restoleaks you're even worse than mark's review! LOL If i were you i'd pack and leave to bora bora(i like it there but u can pick any other destination ;) ) before benihana sues you as well….and then in jail, you know the chances to get laid are not exactly what you'd wish for!! :)) But I know for sure I won't even try to go to benihana anymore…I think that before their bad action people didn't really care about Mark's review, but now he has everyone's support

I ate at Benihana's yesterday despite reading Mark's comments…. I thought he might be biased and wanted to give Benihana a chance… I only ate several types of sushi and maki and sashimi… it reminded me of new year's eve 08/09 when i got drunk and ate my own vomit after seeing a dog eating it…. anyways i ended up vomited that as well and only Dally's pudding could take that awful taste out of my mouth…. I ended up having diarrhea afterwards… I also wonder why Servo assumed Mark was Lebanese, why is he being so racist? Also I had to bring with me a protective shield to the restaurant in fear of having the chef's night slip out and cut my fingers and infect me with HIV…
P.S although sushi is supposed to be an aphrodisiac my friend completely lost her appetite and won't see me again! thanks mike do you know how hard it is to get laid in kuwait?

If anyone is running a business they should be open to criticism and comments from customers and other people because this will help them improve their services and later on to be successful and more advanced that their counterparts. BUT management who are small minded and who are not open for this kind of situation will never ever succeed in anything they do. I love 248am and honestly I believed that mark's comment is totally right.

So whatever or wherever the case will be, i'm on mark's side coz this kind of resto must not exist…

ususally when i read someone's review i go to check by myself and then i decide about my own positive or negative review because normally not two people have the same taste.. but…knowing how low and cheap these people are i think that they don't even deserve to try their so called restaurant… Benihana >> better to close your door to people's face instead of stabbing them in the back!!!

This is bad publicity for benihana, they're digging their own grave! did they ever hear of bad PR? get a life benihana and stop being stupid, i will never ever spend a fils in your bad attitude restaurant, if you have such a bad attitude then it explains the bad food, you are in the service industry and you should receive customers feedback with positiveness and act accordingly to put your act together.
