i read this awesome news in the papers about viva honoring the 2012 summer olympics bronze medalist fhaid aldaihani - viva basically gave fhaid a check worth kd $ 18,000, which i'm sure will make up for the economy trip to the uk in addition to the overweight.
not sure kuwait authorities have honored fhaid yet, nevertheless this is fantastic news from a private company honoring local heroes like al-daihani.

How much did the Kuwait government pay him? All GCC countries award their nationals with a cash reward, it is an honor for them to have made it in the olympics, even Asian countries do that, so what did the upper echelon give him?
